What services does Land Designs Unlimited LLC offer?

We are a landscape contractor.  Our services range from designing and installing an entire landscape to installing specific landscape elements such as transplanting trees and shrubs, walkway and patio installation, and new lawn installation.

We are happy to provide the follow up maintenance for your garden, even if we did not provide the installation.  However, we do not offer lawn mowing, leaf cleanups, or other scheduled lawn maintenance services.

All trees and shrubs installed by Land Designs Unlimited LLC have a one year guarantee from the final invoice date.  Perennials and transplants are not guaranteed.  However, we enjoy a success rate of over 90%.

New lawns are guaranteed to grow in vigorously.  However, damage from weather extremes, such as downpours and drought, are not covered by this guarantee.

All landscape construction projects (walks, walls, fencing, etc.) have a two-year workmanship guarantee.

What areas do you service?

Most of our work is in Fairfield County, Connecticut.  However, we also provide services in Litchfield and New Haven Counties.

We understand that quality work takes planning, preparation, and follow through.  Too often companies are rushing to get to the next job to focus on the job at hand.  It is best for you to compare our strengths and weaknesses.  All we ask is the opportunity to shake your hand and get to know you.

Just give us a call.  After discussing your project, we will meet with you at your home.  Appointments are scheduled Tuesday night, Thursday night, or Saturday morning.  At your home we will further discuss your project.  If you would like a landscape design there is a design fee that will be credited toward your project upon acceptance. 

Depending on the project, we will visit one more time to take measurements, some photos, and evaluate your site.  A completed landscape design will be presented two to three weeks after our initial meeting.  Projects not requiring a drawing will receive an estimate over the phone in one to two weeks, with a follow up written estimate.

That depends on the type of projects we are working on.  However, we do not take on a project for the sole purpose of having an overbooked schedule.  We know how long projects take and schedule them accordingly.

If I gave you the go-ahead today for a project, how long would it take to complete the work?

Upon receipt of a deposit you are provided an estimated start date.  When approaching your estimated start date we will confirm the precise date and what deliveries you can expect.  If your project is delayed it is usually due to factors beyond our control, weather being the biggest.  We always keep you informed of when we will begin your project and any changes that may occur.

How much do your services cost?

There is no easy answer to this question as every project is based on the conditions at your specific site.  We do not strive to "beat the price" of other contractors nor inflate our rates to appear exclusive.  Our prices are what we must charge to capably complete your project.
