Since 1993 Land
Designs Unlimited LLC has been providing superior landscape contracting
services. Our priority is to treat you honestly and fairly.
Customer service and commitment are too often lacking in these modern times,
and we strive to fill that void.

Land
Designs Unlimited LLC was established by John W. Holden. John
graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut in 1992
with a Bachelors degree in Ornamental Horticulture. A memorable activity
at UCONN, besides the basketball games, was a town green he designed for the
annual Parents Day Horticulture Show. While attending college, John
worked as a summer intern at the Bartlett Arboretum in Stamford,
Connecticut.

John is a member of the Connecticut Nursery and
Landscape Association, and became a Certified Connecticut Nurseryman in
1996. He continues his education by attending numerous seminars and
shows, including the 2004 New England Grows trade show and the 2004 Perennial
Plant Conference. In September, 2003 John participated in a seminar on
the installation and maintenance of Low Voltage Landscape Lighting. We are
proud to announce the addition of this service. In February of 2004 John
earned the title of Certified Concrete Paver Installer from the
Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute. He participated in two days of
intense training and passed a written examination demonstrating his knowledge
of paver installation methods.

In 2002, we were flattered when one of our clients
received a Beautification Award from the Trumbull Office of the First
Selectman. |
|
John is married to Karyn Holden. His interests include
restoring his vintage 1820 farmhouse, loading and stoking the wood stove
through the winter, and long walks with his faithful companion,
Madison. During a vacation to California in 2004 John visited the
General Sherman Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum), the
largest tree in the world.
