Landscape Design and Installation

Below is a gallery of landscapes I’ve designed and installed. Please wait a moment while it loads.

There is a unique landscape design for every unique landscape; because every person, every home and every plant is unique.

My design style is more function and less frills.

A home must fit its surroundings. If you want an Italianate Villa in the middle of a New England forest I’m not the designer for you.

I select hardy low maintenance plants that thrive in our changing New England weather.

Stepping stones are my trademark.  They get you closer to your plants and a way to cut through your gardens.

Fieldstone walls, bluestone walkways and wood fencing are always in style.  I often add boulders from the forest to enhance landscapes.

A touch of perennials adds color in all seasons.

Do you plant landscapes?

I design residential landscapes and then plant them. This is known as a design-build landscape contractor.

I’ll select healthy plants, deliver them to your home, prepare your beds, install your plants, mulch your landscape, repair lawn damage and thoroughly clean up your yard.

Can I give my landscapers your design?

I am a design-build landscape contractor. I design landscapes clients intend on having me install.

How long does it take to complete my design?

It depends.  During the summer and winter we can complete your design quicker than the first warm day of spring.

What is the investment for my landscape design?

Landscape designs start around $250 depending on the project.

Do you credit the design investment toward the landscape?

No.  The minimal investment will come back to you many times in a landscape you will enjoy for years to come.

Do you hire subcontractors?

I work with other trades to install your landscape – such as arborists, excavators, irrigation installers, carpenters, masons and fencing companies.

I work alongside professional contractors who take pride in their work and look out for your best interest.

Skilled tradespeople are artists who know their trade and know what good work looks like.  I give a landscape design for all trades to work with and work together to craft your design.
